How do I reserve filament?

Browse our inventory list and complete the contact form with the filament you'd like to reserve. I'll contact you with available pickup times.

Once we agree on a pickup time, your order is confirmed.

Pickup takes place in front of the Jacksonville Mall.

Payment is made at the time of pickup using exact cash, Cash App, Venmo (personal accounts only), or Apple Pay.

How long will you hold reserved filament?

I do my best to accommodate everyone's schedule. For new customers, I typically hold reserved filament for a few hours after our agreed pickup time.

For returning customers with an established purchase history, I'm happy to be more flexible whenever possible.

Will this work on my printer?

Yes! All of our filament is standard 1.75 mm diameter, which is compatible with most consumer 3D printers.

Our filament is manufactured with a dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 mm, ensuring consistent diameter for smooth feeding and reliable print quality.

If you’re unsure whether your printer uses 1.75 mm filament, please check your printer specifications or feel free to message us—we’re happy to help.

How quickly can I pick up my order?

Most orders are picked up within 24 hours, and many the same day. This is not our full-time business, and since we work irregular shifts (including nights and weekends), we can usually find a pickup time that will work for everyone.

Yes! We stock a select inventory of high-quality nozzles and silicone socks available for local pickup below retail shipping prices. Our current on-hand inventory includes:
Bambu P1 Series Hotend Only (0.4mm Hardened Steel): $19.00 (6 available)
Bambu H2/P2S/X2D Standard Flow Hotend (0.4mm Hardened Steel): $23.00 (3 available)
MK8 Steel Nozzles (Compatible with Ender 3, CR-10): $5.00 each or 3 for $12.00 (15 available)

Do you carry filament for outdoors?

Yes! We offer weather-resistant filament options for outdoor projects like PETG, Carbon Fiber PETG and ASA. If you're unsure which material is best for your application, just ask—we're happy to help you choose the right filament.

At the moment, we do not carry adhesives. However, we’re always expanding our offerings, so feel free to check back in the future or message us if you’re looking for a specific product—we’re happy to help where we can.

All pickups are completed in person. Payment is made at the time of pickup, and I do not require payment in advance.

Just bring your preferred payment method. I accept exact cash, Cash App, Venmo (personal accounts only), and Apple Pay.

What's the difference between PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, and ASA?

Accepted Answer

PLA – Easy to print and great for everyday projects, prototypes, toys, and decorative items. Best for indoor use.
PETG – Stronger than PLA with excellent moisture resistance. Great for functional parts and many outdoor applications.
ABS – Durable and heat-resistant, making it a good choice for automotive parts, tool holders, and functional prints. It requires higher print temperatures and good ventilation.
TPU – A flexible, rubber-like filament that's ideal for phone cases, gaskets, bumpers, and parts that need to bend.
ASA – Similar to ABS but with outstanding UV and weather resistance. It's the best choice for long-term outdoor projects.

Every printer is a little different, so I recommend starting with your printer manufacturer's suggested settings for the material you're using. Fine-tuning temperature and print speed may be necessary depending on your printer and project.

Our prices are generally comparable to major online retailers. We also occasionally offer discounts on overstocked filament and special promotions for members of our Facebook community.

Do you offer bulk or multiple-spool discounts?

Yes! Discounts may be available for advance orders of five or more spools of the same color. Bulk pricing is offered on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to contact me for details.

Yes. If someone else will be picking up your order, just let me know their name ahead of time along with the agreed payment method so I can ensure a smooth pickup.

At this time, all standard pickups take place in front of the Jacksonville Mall.
If you're located in Wilmington or New Bern, I may be able to recommend trusted local filament sellers. Feel free to ask, and I'll be happy to share their Facebook Marketplace information.

Possibly. For larger purchases of 30 or more spools, I'm often willing to meet partway, depending on the location and scheduling.

I’m happy to show extra filament options whenever possible during in-person meetups. Since I don’t store inventory in my vehicle and often meet customers before heading to work, I’m not always able to bring everything with me. If there are specific colors or materials you’re interested in, I’m glad to prepare those ahead of time whenever possible.

I don’t have a storefront and all sales are handled through in-person meetups only. Due to our work schedules, I’m usually available before work (around 8am), after work (up to about 9pm), and on weekends with varying hours. I try to be flexible and accommodate scheduling whenever possible.
